In middle school students start to apply what they have learned in a real-world setting through various
role-playing scenarios. They might see what it’s like to be a doctor diagnosing patients, an engineer
designing a new location for a restaurant, a paleontologist on a dig site or as a scientist modifying an
exhibit in an aquarium to save the fish.
